| The beautiful British Virgin Islands is called the “sailing capital” of the world for very good reason. With its protected turquoise waters, constant gentle trade winds and over 60 islands and cays to explore, the BVI are considered the best sailing destination in the Caribbean. The climate is subtropical and the temperatures vary little from summer to winter. The largest of the islands include Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and Anegada. All the islands are relatively close to each other, so it’s easy to get to your next anchorage and explore the white sand beaches and bays, or relax on your yacht, or go snorkeling or diving on some of the best wrecks and reefs in the Caribbean. Start off your vacation in the best marina in the BVI. Sleep aboard the night before and enjoy dinner with your toes in the sand at the Beach Bar or check out the boutiques before relaxing by the pool located right by the beach. |
