Greece Yacht Charter Itinerary

Day 1: Athens – Corinth Canal crossing – Galaxidi (75 nautical miles)

Corinth Canal: By connecting the Saronic Bay and the Bay of Corinth, this canal reduces the number of miles separating the islands in the Aegean and Ionian Seas. After 13 years of excavation, its bridge, which links the Peloponnese to Attica, was finished in 1882.

Galaxidi: A delightful town encircled by charming taverns and beaches. Explore the neighborhood’s streets or perhaps pay a visit to the marine museum. This gorgeous port’s wealth and splendor have a long history and heritage of shipbuilding.

Day 2: Galaxidi – Sami (88 nautical miles)

Sami: is the island’s largest harbor and has connections to Patras, Corfu, and Italy. The region includes a long stretch of shoreline with a very intriguing interior. Landscapes of extraordinary beauty may be found along the shoreline, including Antisamos Beach, Paliouras Beach, and the tiny lake of Karavomylos.

Day 3: Sami – Meganisi (30 nautical miles)

Meganisi: The largest of the group of islets in the southern part of Lefkas. There are three villages with traditional seaside taverns and few but hospitable inhabitants. (Scorpios and Meganissi description as above)

Day 4: Meganisi – Skorpios – Lefkas (11 nautical miles)

Skorpios: is one of the world’s most well-known private islands. The island is primarily recognized as the private island of the late Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis and is located in the Ionian Sea off the western coast of Greece. Lefkada is a mountainous island with a south and east side covered in thick forest. Its eastern coast gently descends to the sea, which is lined with densely forested islets and protected from the wind. Skorpios, Madouri, and Sparti are the most well-known of these. The west coast, in contrast, features high terrain, a few sparsely planted pine trees, and breathtaking expanses of unending golden sand. You will travel to Nidri, one of the island’s most well-liked vacation destinations, a short distance from Skorpios on the eastern coast of Lefkada. The German archaeologist Dorpfeld lived in Nidri and claimed that Ithaki from Homer’s The Iliad was actually Lefkada.

Day 5: Lefkas – Antipaxi – Paxi (34 nautical miles)

Antipaxi: A calm, isolated sanctuary with stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters, Antipaxi is home to just 120 people.

Paxi: The Venetian fortress constructed on the island of St. Nicholas is evidence that the history of this island and that of Corfu are intimately intertwined. This tiny island has found that nature is more than kind. The east of the island is made up of isolated bays, while the west is dominated by high hills covered in olive trees that produce some of the best olive oil in the world.

Day 6: Paxi – Corfu (31 nautical miles)

Corfu:  Corfu is a tiny paradise on earth and is thought to be the Ionian Islands’ most international island. You may find picturesque coves and vegetation that slopes into the deep blue sea all along the northern coast, from Paleokastritsa to Kanoni, from the Achillion to Pontikonissi. On this global island, it is simple to mix leisure with a wild night out.

Day 7: Corfu –Sivota (21 nautical miles)

Sivota: is a scenic coastal village with rare natural beauty situated in The sprotia, north of the Ionic Sea.

Day 8: Sivota – Parga (14 nautical miles)

Parga: This island is a unique location with amazing beauty. The rich vegetarian in the clear waters makes it perfect for snorkelers. The city, which has charming streets and overlooks many evergreen islets, was constructed on the ruins of a Venetian castle.

Day 9: Parga – Nidri (Lefkada) (39 nautical miles)

Nidri: Nidri is one of the primary yachting locations on the Ionian Sea, along with Lefkada Town. It is the perfect site to learn to sail because of its location on the east coast of Levkas, where the sea is typically calm.

Day 10: Nidri – Kalamos – Kastos (17 nautical miles)

Kalamos: The mountain range, which is a tall mountain range that floats on the sea, with towering, dense pine trees covering most of its northern side. So Kalamos captivates with its distinctive, wild terrain even at first glance from a distance.

Kastos: Southeast of Lefkada is the island of Kastos. The distinctive little coastal community is situated in the center of the island’s east side in a cove that is well protected and has a sandy beach. A wide range of water sports are available in Kastos, including fishing, swimming, lengthy walks amid its stone cottages, oil orchards, vintage oil presses, and a windmill that towers over the community and is the only one in the prefecture of Lefkada whose mechanism is still in working order.

Day 11: Kastos – Fiskardo (18 nautical miles)

Fiskardo:  The island’s northernmost port, and is a well known anchorage for yachts.
According to English traveler Miller, who wrote about the island’s most charming settlement in the 19th century, Fiskardo may be.

Day 12: Fiskardo – Ithaki (14 nautical miles)

Ithaki: This island is a tranquil haven unspoiled by visitors. Odysseus, the hero that Homer praised, is from Ithaki. Her city, Vathi, views over the ruins of the two strongholds at the harbor’s entrance while the hilly terrain fades subtly into the several bays.

Day 13: Ithaki – Zakinthos (41 nautical miles)

Zakinthos: As the “Flower of the Orient,” or “Fiorro di Levante,” it boasts a wide range of lovely flowers, a magnificent past, and regional music known as “kantades” that may be heard virtually every evening. The emerald sea, the pine-covered hills, or the welcoming, kind-hearted locals are difficult to forget.

Day 14: Zakinthos – Nafpaktos (56 nautical miles)

Nafpaktos: After entering her port, which is flanked by cafés and various bars, the visitor is immediately met by two majestic towers at the entrance overlooking an Acropolis that is surrounded by seemingly evergreen hills.

Day 15: Nafpaktos – Corinth Canal crossing – Athens (97 nautical miles)
